嘉宾简介:
Dr. Yossi Dashti is involved in technology transfer, academic research, and academic education in the fields of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Information Technologies. He leads the business development of the Yeda-Weizmann Institute of Science in China. As a member of the Israeli Prime Minister’s 2017 delegation to China, Dr. Dashti promotes global technology transfer and collaboration. In addition, he lectures as a keynote speaker in global events and teaches at the Israel Institute of Technology (ITT-Technion) and Ben Gurion University (BGU) in Israel, and Peking-Beida (PKU), Sichuan (SCU), and Renmin (RUC) Universities in China.
In previous engagements throughout his career, Dr. Dashti served as Vice President of Business Development at YazamTech and as a member of the California based Broadcom Corporation management team that led the company’s record-setting IPO (NASDAQ: BRCM)and the M&A integration of over 20 acquired companies in global locations. Held technical and managerial Information Technology and Electronic Commerce global positions with Western Digital, AST Computers, LAHAV at the Recanati School of Management Tel Aviv University, and Digital Equipment Corp. (DEC). He served on the international board and committees of Electronic Commerce and EDI/X12 Standards and the United Nation ratified EDIFACT Standards for healthcare and technology industries.
Dr. Dashti is involved with and has served on the Boards Merage Foundation for US-IsraelTrade, the Graduate School of Management with the University of California at Irvine,Applicure Technologies, American Technion Society (AST), Israel Venture Networks (IVN),NATAL, and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).
Dr. Dashti earned a Ph.D. from Ben Gurion University, Israel, an M.B.A. from the University of California, and a B.Sc. in Computer Information Science from the University of San Francisco.
